Rich Through The Years

Music is something that I cherish very much as a listener and not as a musician. I take what I hear and analyze it and allow it to bury inside of my being, giving me an insight into my life and life itself in ways that I did not think that it could. I try to figure out what the musician/artist was trying to convey with the music they have presented as best as I can, from quotes by them in press releases, by other short reviews I've read and mostly by simply listening. What I try to do from that is gather it into a critical and analytical perspective that conveys how the music makes me feel as I explain this to the reader. It may not be what a reader thinks it is and may not be the direct or literal meaning of a song as the artist intended, but more of what I think and what I gather from that song or body of musical work. What I attempt to do with these reviews is shed some light on something you perhaps hadn't though of before. New listeners and old listeners alike. You might know the songs in these reviews very well or you may have never heard them. The main point is to make the reader think and reflect on the music itself to gather their own thoughts while seeing another perspective than before. Simply read them to enjoy and always, feel free to give me feedback. I hope that you, the reader, gather something you didn't know or think of before.

I'm including here ALL of my music reviews. That way you can get a flavor what I write with more than one review. There will be more in the future, including ones for Dualesc and other Filter albums. Feel free to leave comments on any of the reviews.
