IN LOVING MEMORY OF A FALLEN HERO
On June 4, 2004, The Filter Online Community
lost a very special member. Justin Eyerly(or as most of you know him as, Filtered) was killed in action while attempting to
secure a safe place for wounded soldiers. He was in the National Guard serving in Iraq. Justin was only 23 years old
when he died.
There can't be enough said about the contributions
he's made to this country in laying down his life for it or the amount of time he devoted to Filter's music through out the
years. Justin created one of the first Filter websites all the way back in 1996. His knowledge of the band his love for the
music knew no boundaries. Without him most of what we call the Filter Online Community would not exist. It was his involvement
and encouragement of other Filter fans that lead to a lot of what we see. His inspiration will be sorely missed.
I'd like to ask that everyone remember and have
a moment of silence for Justin, his family who has suffered the most in this loss and for all of those soldiers who have died
in this war. They all deserve our thanks and gratitude for the sacrifices they make to do what they believe needs to be done.
And when you listen to Filter music, always know that Justin will be right with you, listening right along.

This is a link to Justin's website. It
exemplifies how devoted he was to the music of Filter and still remains a good source of information.
Soul Driver. . .Justin created his very own music
that we can all remember and listen to to keep his memory alive. It's full of emotion and beauty.
To remember Justin and other fallen heroes in
the war, I encourage everyone to contribute to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund. This fund provides financial assistance to
families of fallen heroes who require money to pay for a funeral, to be flown to the funeral and other necessary things. Please
give to the fund to help these families in need.
Because some soldiers come home in need of medical
care that they cannot afford, disabled veterans also need our help. Please contribute to the Disabled Veterans of America
Fund to that veterans can get the required care they need.
