You know, the other day I was watching the video Hey Man, Nice Shot. I was thinking to myself, "Why on earth would you put those type of glasses on?" I know, I know. I shoulda been paying attention to the wonderful video, but I kept thinking over and over again, "Why Rich, why?" I mean, we know he wears glasses, but you pick the frames.

Now, I know it's sorta bad to pick on Richie for glasses, but I couldn't help but think about this. I think I may have come up with an answer to why Richie has these. Don't get me wrong(which I probably am since I'm bullshitting)but I think that silly Rich decided that they were neat and he'd borrow them from his Dad. I mean, classic 1950s and 60s glasses in a video made in 1994? Seems odd to me.

Now, I know you're thinking, "Why pick on Richie for this?" Well,I had to explain it, for my own sake. I think that he thought they would look wonderful in the video(don't get me wrong, it sure does add to the atmosphere of the video, especially the content behind it. See the fact about Hey Man, Nice Shot. Don't be lazy, find it for yourself.) or perhaps he thought that with that poor lighting he might need them. Hey, I like the lighting too. It's neat. It gives it character most music videos don't have.

Hey, while I'm on this subject of over analyzing his glasses, brings up my next question. Now, we know he wears these glasses not only in the video. (Those of us who have seen Phenomenology KNOW what I am talking about)but did he wear them as a Nail? I have never seen him wear these glasses while photographed as a Nail. Just bugss me, that's all. Or, well, maybe he opted geeky glasses over electric tape on the nipples.(A whole thing I'm going to avoid.) It just baffles me, that's all. Just think about it. Why on earth would you wear these geeky glasses otherwise?
