So I Still Have Nothing To Talk About. Okay, I Do. 7/11/02

Due to the fact that I have to push up next week's update a day early, I'm doing the same with this one so live with it! At the FDG the big rage is about the three new Filter songs that are downloadable from this station's site. I'm going to only choose one to talk about and my choice is So I Quit. I spent all day debating myself if I should or not.(Tells you how much time I got on my hands. . .)

When I first heard So I Quit, I must admit it scared the shit outta me. Why do you ask? Well it's simple really. I've been listening to some really soft stuff lately. (No, no, no. Not Kenny G or Celine Dion, folks) but the latest Nine Inch Nails release entitled Still. That album is spectacular folks. Trust me. It's worth the money. Anyways, hearing So I Quit in all of it's abrasiveness startled me out of my Still mentality and made me jump.

Then I got pissed off and played it while I was mad and it made quite the difference, folks. Whew, it drained the anger right outta me as I listened to the rage in the song. Then it became a fun song to listen to and didn't scare me nearly so much anymore. Which is good. Good grief, I oughta stop listening to so much quiet stuff all the time.

And really guys, there is nothing like starting your song off with "MUTHER FUUUUUCKERRR!" It's catchy, it's noticeable, and most of all, if you blare it and you have any windows open it has the potential to get you into big trouble! What a deal! Either that or it'll scare the shit outta them polka playing neighbors of yours. I've noticed songs such as this and Hair of the Dog have that affect. I guess it's the fact they both have such warm, fuzziness in them. You know, makes me glow with warm fuzzies when I hear someone shout "you're going to fucking die you piece of shit!" Come feel the love with me! It's joyful! Feel the Filter oooey gooey love. It's there, man!

So folks, the next time you feel the need to show the "love" for a special someone, play this song first. The warm, fuzziness of it will certainly help you out! Hey, I know this Consider This was lame. Give me a break folks! It was tough work and at least I didn't mention Rich's ASS even once! Oops. I guess I just did.
